This particular song-no since I don't know it. But yes, I often wake with a song in my head and it continues much of the day which I enjoy sharing with others at random.
I don't usually wake up with music in my mind -- at least, I don't think so, but whatever I'm thinking or dreaming of is usually pounced out by a persistent and portly feline.
Since I usually listen to "Play that funky music, whiteboy" a couple of times while sitting in the school's parking lot (you'll understand the need for high-energy music and external motivation after you've taught for twenty years), it usually sticks with me throughout the day.
It is not uncommon for me to be round the corner of an otherwise quiet hallway and surprise whoever might be coming from the other direction with the words, "Yeah they was Dancin' and singin' and movin' to the groovin'..."

See? Aren't you singing along right now?
I am indeed! Have you really been teaching for 20 years? That is awesome! I can't wait to get your surprise in the mail! :)
