Sweetest compliment I received today: That the smell of baking cookies "has nothing on [me]" when it comes to "brightening up the whole place." (!)
What were some of your utmosts of the day?
I really enjoyed testing with a group of collegues. No, I didn't zoom ahead, do their work for them and I DID even stay after to help a slow poke. I stepped out of my usual operational mode and found it quite satisfying.
ReplyDeleteI found joy in seeing the AH+HAH moments of students. I found joy in ceelebrating with students. I found joy in offering structure for students. I found joy that a friend is involved in a Science Saturday and that she felt pleased with her preparation. I found foy in a quiet house.
Not a funny day but a joyous one, indeed!
